Heading toward cardiac arrest

It seems at times that we are fighting with God over Denise.
Things are still quite bad this evening. I had to come home to eat during the shift change. Earlier today my aunt asked the doctor what we can expect. It seems that the conditions and numbers are heading toward cardiac arrest. Could be today, tomorrow, a week... no telling.
The Dobutimine has had some positive effect, but I don't know that it would be enough to turn this around.
Denise is on Ativan and morphine now. She will wake once in a while for a few seconds. I did get some kisses & some important words with her. I asked her if she was scared and today she shook her head to indicate "no." I told her that her heart is weak, the deck is stacked against us (but there are always wild cards), and we might lose her. Our pastor from Lake Avenue Church came over (he's been coming over a lot during our ordeal) to pray. Even though she indicated days ago that she wanted serene, mellow music, I played one of her favorite Twila Paris albums that's a little upbeat. When asked if she liked it playing, she nodded "yes." The respiratory therapist snuck a little orange juice onto Denise's mouth swab tonight.
They were just about ready to finish dialysis when I left. They may take Denise for another fancy scan to try to find any infections. They're still throwing everything at her that they've got.

I am praying! Continueosly, remember God Loves you both, and Denise is in his arms of mercy. He is holding her close to his heart and he will lead and guide her steps every step of the journey.
Remember when I prayed the other day when we were there on your birthday that the Lord would Heal Denise so that she would dance again. The next morning during worship, the Lord gave me a beautiful picture of her dancing again. She was glowing and her eyes were showing radiance. I dont want her to go either but if it is the Lords will know that she will again be whole, and she will be able to hold Daniel in her arms just like she dreamed of doing.
I am not giving up hope that God can heal her and I pray that he does! Please give all of the family my love we are still pulling for her! HOLD ON TO JESUS!
LOVE YOU

Hi Phil,
I am a friend of Robert Jole's in Eugene, OR. We pray for you and Denise and your family every day. So do many of my friends and family.
You are such an inspiration. Your love for Denise and your commitment to her, your faith and your humor (which is one of the best medicines), and you're a great Dad.
I work for a Doctor, and I have seen many of God's "wild cards"! I have one patient who got cancer at age 105 and he is now 107, yes I said 107! He's still walking, talking and making me laugh! Also, my father-in-law has cardiomyopathy and was down to about 15% heart function a few years ago, and his last tests show his heart function is back to normal. Amazing what medicine and prayer can do! So don't give up hope. God has a plan.
We're still praying for all of you.
Kathy

Our prayer, our thoughts, our hearts are with you Denise and Phil. JLC

I have been praying since the beginning...I feel a bond between us. Phil, you have been and continue to be so open in sharing that I've been able to get to know you and Denise, the kids, some of the family, and the great nurses/doctors. This has been and continues to be a blessing...thank you (I can relate to your humor). Denise you are such a wonderful fighter and that continues to encourage me...you are a sweet blessing.

We will continue to intercede for each of you...We love you, Phil and Denise. LC
