Cocci Study Group March 24, 2012 Tucson AZ
The Valley Fever Center for Excellence has information about this year's annual Cocci Study Group. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend this year due to a scheduling conflict. If anyone's reading this and interested, here is the the place to get more info (both registration for this year's event and proceedings from previous years):
http://www.vfce.arizona.edu/resources/coccistudygroup/
It is a free one-day event, always full of the latest information about all aspects of Valley Fever. Presenters are medical professionals, lab technicians, researchers, public health workers, and a variety of specialists (from veterinarians to geologists). The presentations are primarily aimed at those that can understand the medical jargon, but the event is open to the general public. The legends of cocci research and treatment are always at these events.
